At Suzuyo, we have a word "Tomoiki" inherited to us and passed on throughout our long history. This "Tomoiki" (directly translated in English as "Symbiosis") is the very backbone of our management, and also our spiritual foundation which connects us with our local community, our customers, our clients and each of our own employees. The reason we have managed to overcome the many hardships experienced since our foundation over 200 years ago is due to the implication of 'the spirit of Tomoiki' through our continuous endeavors of self-innovation in order to be a needed entity of the society.

Considering the current environment surrounding logistics in general where a shortage of manpower is well foreseen due to an evident decreasing working population, the very chain of logistics will not be able to survive as a societal infrastructure if such challenges as inefficient logistic flow and suppressed loading space for trucking transportation ,etc. should continue as well as wastage in other logistical facets. We are facing and overcoming such challenges. Also, looking towards the realization of a sustainable society, our efforts to comprehend and cope with various social challenges such as carbon-neutral and/or decarbonization nowadays can be seen and are important to many in the public domain having been pushed to the forefront of logistical activity.

In such an era like this, we are emphasizing the importance of "Total Logistic Optimization" which is made possible by visualizing the logistics of the customer and clarifying the challenges in which they are facing. This also realizes sustainable logistics which can fill the gap between supply and demand and curtail CO2 emissions without large investments.

With our management backbone of "Tomoiki" always in mind, as a corporate citizen contributing to society, we will always strive to continue to assist and advance our customers endeavours as much as possible through logistics, as well as to build and nurture better relationships with the local people of the community.
