Our activities in the Philippines began with the establishment of a representative office in 1995. It was reorganized into a subsidiary in 2015. We are the first Japanese logistics operator based in the Philippines to launch a refrigerated transportation service using owned vehicles. We have at least five years of experience providing this transportation service locally. We propose modes of transportation matched to customers' needs for pharmaceuticals, food and other goods that require temperature management. All of our vehicles are managed using positional information and running speed provided using a GPS system. This ensures that valuable goods are always delivered safely.

In a strategic partnership with UPS, we will combine its network of 400 locations in 120 countries with our overseas bases to support imports and exports in different countries around the world. In addition, we have independently developed the Logistics Tracking System (LTS), an import and export progress management system. It enables customers to independently check the status of goods with any specific bill of lading (B/L) in the export or import process in real-time.

Background to using our services
It was very difficult for the customer to handle the rising cost of ocean freight and secure shipping space due to container shipping congestion and wished to improve the situation.
Our Proposal
We offered a packing engineering service to revise their transportation packing model. That increased the efficiency of container loading and helped eliminate some of the containers that had been necessary. This facilitates the securing of shipping space and the reduction of logistics expenses.

Background to using our services
The customer transported frozen food to stores in the country. Temperature management errors occurred frequently with the contractor's temperature managed trucks resulting in the disposal of products. In view of the SDGs, the customer wished to reduce their disposal losses.
Our Proposal
The temperatures in our vehicles are strictly managed. The temperature management log data can be provided whenever necessary to reassure the customer. Regarding the reduction of disposal losses in transit, we succeeded in eliminating them and helped the customer to meet their goals related to the SDGs.
